The exterior of this dated house has been transformed and brought right up to date. Plus adding a double height living area extension with a timber and glass wall onto the garden has given it the wow factor.
Lovely Arts and Crafts house in Shrewsbury's Kingsland area is finally getting its makeover after delays caused by the pandemic lockdown. New kitchen and utility extensions and alterations and extensions to the bedrooms and loft area where an ugly dormer is being removed and new more sympathetic dormers are to be added.
We redesigned an extension for clients who were unhappy with their previous architects plans and received a lovely email testimonial. "We love them! We've put a bottle of prosecco in the fridge so we can celebrate tonight! It's more that we celebrating that we have found an architect who knows what they are doing!"
"a huge thank you to Nick at 2 Scale Architects. We had a little courtyard at the side of our house, which just wasn't big enough for anything really, so Nick came around to take a look. He suggested knocking a wall down and reducing the size of the utility, but still leaving plenty of room for a washing machine, tumble dryer, coats etc. and that allowed us to have an extension attached to the kitchen with a glass lantern, which looks absolutely fabulous. It lets so much light in now, that we use this as our main dining area. If you have a space that you just don't know what to do with, get in touch with Nick, I highly recommend his work, genius."
This morning Nick gave a power point presentation to Severn Business Network showcasing our architectural work with before and after images of varying projects
